PROGRESSIVE CLASSROOM MANAGEMENT MADE EASY WITH BILL MORTON

Effective classroom management protects valuable instructional time, lowers stress levels in teachers and reduces anxiety in learners. Time spent creating a progressive classroom management plan is a win-win-win investment for the professional teacher. Come to this workshop series when it visits your area and create an actual plan that meets your needs and respects your personal philosophy of education using innovative and effective strategies presented weekly in a practical and humorous way. In the safety of a community of educational professionals, solve problems, discuss unique challenges you encounter and offer strategies that have worked well for you. Bill Morton is a 40 year career educator and part-time Professor at the University of Ottawa who is passionate about student success. He believes that when the small details are covered through forethought and planning, the teacher is freed to teach and to explore all those big ideas with the learners in their care.

" I learned more about managing my classroom in 45 minutes with Bill Morton than in one year at my Faculty of Education.............." Christine F. (2008 first year teacher attendee)

"Driving home from Bill's workshop I was smiling alone in my car. I couldn't wait to get back to my classroom. A month earlier I was crying because I couldn't make my classroom work......"

Noreen S. (2009 change of grade level attendee)

"I have just been assigned a class with 28 students and 11 have special needs. My anxiety levels have been through the roof but suddenly it all seems possible........I now have a practical plan. Thanks, Bill."

Justin H.(2007 veteran teacher attendee)

".........so I know it's part of his condition but he swears and throws things at the other kids. They are all terrified. Next week, things are going to change for the better with this plan I made. I am sure of it."

John F.(2008 behavioural class teacher attendee)
